Our specialist team is headed by Derek McConnell and Marie Christine Rousse who have a high degree of experience and knowledge in all areas of Immigration and Asylum law.
They are both Accredited Senior Immigration caseworkers
This area of law is very emotive, complex, and for ever changing and our team offers a high quality service for those who are most vulnerable in our society.
We have a large Immigration case load which always includes:
- Immigration, Entry Clearance Applications and In country applications
- European Union Migration – countries covered by the European Economic Area migration, plus from three EU candidate countries Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey
- Applications to the Home Office
- Representation before Asylum and Immigration Tribunal and Higher Courts
- Family reunion for spouses, civil partnerships, co-habitees, children and elderly relatives
- Certificates of Approval
- Applications for Students
- Removal or deportation
- Applications outside Immigration Rules under Home Office policies and concessions, and for the exercise of discretion
- Children
- Citizenship and nationality, including applications for the exercise of discretion
- Asylum Applications
- Human Rights Act application: Humanitarian and Discretionary leave applications
- Business immigration (work permits and applications under Highly skilled Migrant programme).
