COMMUNITY CARE

Our specialist team in this important area of law is headed by Faye Reynolds, we are more than aware of the problems caused by those who are, for many reasons unable to fully support themselves, we are also aware that this seems to be the area which seems to suffer most obviously from cuts in funding.

The needs of the elderly, young, mentally ill, disabled, the homeless and the vulnerable are often very real and apparent and yet there is, it seems a reluctance on the part of Local Authorities to provide appropriate levels of care and support. It is in the representation of such people that Faye and her team can ensure that their lives and the lives of those who are nearest and dearest can be enhanced significantly,

We will seek and arrange for Community Care assessments, negotiate with Social Workers and other support workers to make sure that the help needed is provided. We will, if needed obtain independent advice from Social Workers etc to ensure that what is proposed is appropriate to meet a persons needs and once the needs have been identified we will make sure that it is provided.

We will also assist to ensure that Carers are provided with the correct level of support to make suire that they are able to support the person in need.

As part of our case load we assist parents with children who have special educational needs or Asylum seekers who may need some Community Care support.

We are sure we can help you so please contact Faye on: Telephone: 0117 3146400
